Patients diagnosed by a physician with the following medical conditions may be considered for an MMJ Card: 

- Cancer 

- Glaucoma 

- Positive status for HIV and AIDS 

- Hepatitis C 

- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 

- Tourette’s syndrome 

- Crohn’s disease 

- Ulcerative colitis 

- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) 

- Severe arthritis 

- Fibromyalgia 

- Alzheimer’s disease 

- Cachexia 

- Peripheral neuropathy 

- Intractable pain – (pain that has not responded to ordinary medication, treatment, or surgical measures for more than six [6] months) 

- Severe nausea 

- Seizures, including without limitation those that are characteristic of epilepsy 

- Severe and persistent muscle spasms, including without limitation those that are characteristic of multiple sclerosis 

- Other conditions or treatments approved by the ADH.

In order to obtain an MMJ Card in the state of Arkansas, written consent from a physician is required. This certificate needs to be signed by a physician and submitted to the ADH during the application process. To start:  

Once the written certification form is signed by a physician, the next step is to complete and submit an application to the ADH. 

The easiest and most efficient way to apply for your MMJ card is by submitting an application online. New patients can register here.  

Applications can also be submitted by mail.  

Send the completed patient application form along with: 

- A completed Physician Written Certification form; 

- A copy of the front of your Arkansas Driver’s License or DMV-issued Arkansas state ID; and  

- A $50 non-refundable check or money order made payable to:

Once you have submitted your application and paid the $50 non-refundable fee to the state, it can take anywhere from 2 to 30 days or more for your application to be approved. Typically though, it takes around 14 business days for your application to be approved and your card issued. 

If you applied online, you can check the status of your application through the account you created when you registered. When the tag next to your application says “ISSUED,” your card is ready.  

*Note: When you log in to your account, a digital copy of your MMJ card will pop up. This is NOT the correct card. Click the “ok” button and scroll right. Click on the button that says “PDF.” This is the card you will need to show on your visit to our dispensary. 

You should receive a hard copy of your card in the mail; however, if you would like to visit our dispensary before receiving your physical card, you can print out a copy or show us the digital copy on your phone.

Unfortunately, a digital copy is not issued if you applied through the mail. Please wait until you receive your physical card in the mail to come in and shop. 

Once you have your issued MMJ card, you can enter our dispensary. No need for an appointment! Come in any day between the hours of 9 am and 8 pm and meet with one of our patient consultants, or budtenders as we call them, in the cannabis industry. 

Our budtenders are extremely knowledgeable and ready to help you identify the cannabis product that is right for you. We have answers if you have questions about strains, potency, dosage, products, etc. 

If you don’t want to meet with a budtender, you can check out our menu online and place an order for pick-up instead. 

In order to make a purchase at our dispensary, you will need to bring your valid MMJ card, whether it be a digital or physical copy. If it is your first time visiting our dispensary, please bring a valid form of identification (driver’s license or state-issued ID). This MUST be a physical copy. We do not accept digital versions of government-issued IDs.

Your MMJ Card does not serve as a valid form of identification, as it clearly states on the back. 

Currently, we are cash-only. We have two ATMS available for use if needed, one in the lobby and one on the sales floor. 

You do not need to meet with a budtender every time you come to the dispensary.  Instead of shopping in-store, you can place an order online through our website, and we will have that order ready for you at one of our pick-up windows. Please wait to receive a text notification saying your order is ready before checking in with one of our receptionists.  

*Note: If you would like to add to your online order, you may do so. We can easily grab any prepackaged items for you at the pick-up window. However, if you wish to add any deli-style flower, we will need to check you in again to our “in-store” queue as we do not have scales to weigh out flower in the online pick-up area. 

Unfortunately, Arkansas does not have a reciprocity program. It does not recognize Medical Marijuana Cards from other states as valid forms of ADH approval to purchase medicinal cannabis in the state of Arkansas. It does, however, have a Visiting Patient program.

In order to apply for a Visiting Patient card, you’ll need your home state Medical Marijuana Card or equivalent, a completed application, and a $50 application fee. Visiting Patient cards are valid for 90 days. 

States That Accept Out-of-State Medical Cannabis Cards:

Alabama 

Alabama does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards.

Alaska 

Alaska’s medical cannabis program does not recognize out-of-state MMJ cards. However, purchasing up to one ounce of cannabis for recreational purposes in Alaska is legal. 

Arizona 

Arizona state law allows a visiting qualifying patient with a registry identification card or its equivalent, issued by the qualifying patient's home state, to possess or use cannabis. However, a visiting patient is not authorized to obtain cannabis from a dispensary because the dispensary is required in statute to access a verification system before dispensing cannabis. 

However, recreational (adult-use) cannabis is legal to purchase in Arizona, with a possession limit of up to 2.5 ounces (about 70.87g). 

California 

California doesn’t recognize out-of-state medical marijuana cards, but visitors to California can apply for a California medical marijuana identification card (MMIC) without a California address. Recreational cannabis is also legal in California, with a possession limit of up to one ounce of flower or eight grams of concentrate. 

Colorado 

Colorado residents may apply for the state’s medical marijuana program, but Colorado doesn’t recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards. However, recreational cannabis is legal in Colorado, with a possession limit of one ounce or 28 grams. 

Connecticut 

Connecticut does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards, though recreational cannabis is legal for adults 21 and older. 

Delaware 

Only Delaware residents can apply for their state’s medical marijuana program. 

Florida 

Florida does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards. 

Georgia 

Georgia allows patients to safely access low-THC medical cannabis oils (with up to 5% THC) within the state. 

Hawaii  

Hawaii allows out-of-state patients to apply for their medical marijuana program as visiting patients instead of recognizing other states’ medical marijuana programs. Those with serious or terminal conditions can get their applications fast-tracked. 

Idaho 

Medical and recreational use of cannabis is fully illegal in the state of Idaho. 

Illinois 

Illinois does not recognize out-of-state medical marijuana cards. However, recreational cannabis is legalized for adults 21 and older. 

Indiana 

Only hemp-derived CBD is available in Indiana. Otherwise, both medical and recreational/adult use of cannabis is prohibited in the state. 

Iowa 

Iowa's Medical Cannabis Program remains highly restrictive, allowing patients only 4.5g every 90 days (about 3 months). The state does not allow for out-of-state medical marijuana cards. 

Kansas 

Cannabis is illegal in Kansas, whether for medical reasons or recreational use. 

Kentucky 

Medical cannabis use is legal in the state of Kentucky; however, the state does not recognize out-of-state mmj cards or certificates. 

Louisiana 

Patients visiting Louisiana can purchase medical cannabis from a licensed pharmacy. They must fill out a mandatory form provided by the pharmacy and provide proof of their valid state-issued medical cannabis registry identification card or its equivalent. 

Maine 

Medical cannabis patients visiting Maine are only required to show their state-issued mmj card to purchase medical marijuana while in the state. 

Recreational cannabis is legal, but a medical card grants you the same protections in Maine as in your home state. 

Maryland 

Out-of-state medical cannabis cards are not accepted in Maryland. However, recreational cannabis is legalized for those 21 and over. 

Massachusetts 

Massachusetts does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis certificates or cards, but allows recreational sales for those aged 21 or over. 

Michigan 

Michigan’s dispensaries can choose if they will recognize an out-of-state medical marijuana card or not. However, recreational cannabis is legal for those aged 21 or over in Michigan. The possession limit is 2.5 ounces (about 70.87g). 

Minnesota 

Minnesota does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards; however, recreational cannabis is legal for adults 21 and older. 

Mississippi 

Mississippi allows for out-of-state visitors to apply for a medical cannabis card just as the state’s residents do. Applications can be made up to thirty days before arriving in Mississippi, and cards are valid for fifteen days. 

Missouri 

Missouri does not accept out-of-state medical cards. However, recreational cannabis is legal for adults 21 and older. 

Montana 

Montana does not recognize other states’ medical cannabis cards. However, recreational cannabis is legalized for adults 21 and over. 

Nebraska 

Marijuana is illegal in Nebraska, and the state has not yet legalized recreational or medical marijuana use. 

Nevada 

Nevada recognizes all other states’ medical cannabis cards, meaning you receive the same rights as an out-of-state patient as a Nevada-residing one. 

New Hampshire 

If the qualifying condition for your medical cannabis card from your home state is on New Hampshire’s qualifying condition list, then New Hampshire will recognize your medical cannabis card, however, qualified-out of-state patients may not shop at New Hampshire dispensaries. Their medical cannabis card allows them only to legally possess medical marijuana within the state. 

New Jersey 

New Jersey recognizes other states’ medical marijuana cards. Medicinal cannabis patients from other states may register for a nonrenewable, six-month MCP card for use during their stay in New Jersey.   

Out-of-state patients will need to consult with a registered New Jersey healthcare practitioner who will enroll them in our registry. They will need to use the reference number and registry ID number they get from the provider and a current copy of their registration in their home state’s program to set up an account in their patient portal. 

Patients are allowed to possess up to three ounces of cannabis flower. New Jersey has also legalized recreational cannabis. 

New Mexico 

New Mexico currently allows medical cannabis patients from out-of-state to possess and purchase medical cannabis while in the state. Recreational cannabis use is also legal in New Mexico. 

New York 

New York does not recognize other states’ medical marijuana cards or certificates. However, recreational cannabis is legalized for adults 21 and older. 

North Carolina 

Cannabis is illegal in North Carolina, whether for medical reasons or recreational use. However, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Nation’s lands within the borders of North Carolina has legalized both medicinal and recreational use. 

North Dakota 

The state of North Dakota does not recognize medical marijuana cards issued in other states. Individuals moving to North Dakota who want to obtain a North Dakota medical marijuana card must complete the patient application under the state's medical marijuana program. 

Ohio 

Ohio does not recognize medical marijuana cards issued by other states; however, recreational cannabis use is legal for adults 21 and over. 

Oklahoma 

Oklahoma requires visitors to apply for an out-of-state patient license rather than recognize other states’ medical cannabis certificates and identification cards. Only patients with a state-issued medical cannabis card are eligible. Out-of-state patient licenses are valid for 30 days. 

Oregon 

Oregon does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards. However, cannabis is legal for recreational use in Oregon for anyone 21 or older and can be purchased at retail dispensaries up to one ounce (or 28g).  

Pennsylvania 

Pennsylvania does not recognize out-of-state medical cannabis cards. 

Rhode Island 

Rhode Island accepts out-of-state medical cannabis cards. Visiting patients must present their out-of-state medical card and valid government ID to purchase medical cannabis from a dispensary. Reciprocal patients may possess up to 2.5 ounces (about 70.87g) of flower. 

South Carolina 

Cannabis is illegal in South Carolina, whether for medical or recreational use. 

South Dakota 

South Dakota does not permit medical marijuana cardholders from other states to purchase within its borders. 

Tennessee 

Cannabis is illegal in Tennessee, and use is only permitted for a small range of medical conditions. Tennessee has some allowances for using non-psychoactive CBD oil to treat severe conditions like epilepsy or cancer, so there is a limited medical marijuana program. 

Texas 

Texas’s Compassionate Use Program (CUP) allows certain physicians to prescribe low THC cannabis for medical purposes. Out-of-state medical cards, however, are not valid in the state. 

Utah 

Medical marijuana patients visiting Utah who meet one of the state’s qualifying conditions may register with the state for a non-Utah resident card, allowing the possession and use of medical cannabis per Utah’s legal restrictions. Non-Utah resident cards are valid for 21 days and are capped at two 21-day periods per calendar year. 

Vermont 

Vermont does not recognize other states’ medical marijuana cards. However, adults 21 and older who are not patients can possess up to 1 ounce (28 grams) of marijuana or 5 grams of hashish for recreational purposes and grow a maximum of two mature marijuana plants or four immature marijuana plants. 

Virginia 

Virginia doesn’t recognize other states’ medical marijuana cards. Recreational cannabis, however, is legal in the state for adult-use. 

Washington 

Washington does not have medical cannabis reciprocity. However, recreation is legal and allows those over 21 to purchase up to one ounce of cannabis. 

Washington D.C. 

Washington, D.C. recognizes other states’ medical cannabis cards, and the possession limit is one ounce. However, D.C. only recognizes mmj cards from a specific list of states with comparable medical marijuana programs.  

This list includes:  

Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina - Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia 

West Virginia 

West Virginia does not recognize other state’s medical cannabis cards. 

Wisconsin 

Cannabis is illegal in Wisconsin. The state only permits the use of hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) containing no more than 0.3% THC. 

Wyoming 

Cannabis is illegal in Wyoming, regardless of whether it’s medical or recreational.
